My Favorite Spots In Singapore

My Favorite Spots In Singapore

I’m not a local in Singapore, and I’ve never lived there before. I’ve only been there twice and yet I’m sharing with you, my favorite spots in Singapore. Why? Because these are the places that make me want to go back for the third time. And if you will ever want to visit this country, these places should be included in your itinerary.

So I won’t make the introduction anymore longer. Here it is. The list. My favorite spots in Singapore.

Supertree Grove

If you’re looking for something inexpensive for tourists, drop by the Supertree grove, or as I like to call them the Avatar trees, at night, during the musical light show. It’s an experience of magic and being in another world. It’s definitely going to be worth your while, and the only things you’ll be spending on will be the train ticket to get there. Well, if you’re staying somewhere around Marina Bay, you may not even have to take the train to get here.

Clark Quay

What can I say? I’m a party girl. I’ve always been the type of girl who likes to go out, have fun, and drink dance the night way. But I’m not really sure if there are dance clubs in Clarke Quay, I assure you that this area is where you will find the strip of bars to get good beers and have a good time. It may be expensive to order at the bars here. Maybe take at least USG100 with you.

Marina Bay Sands

Another one of the touristy spots I like is Marina Bay Sands. In this area, you can just walk around and feel the cool breeze of the ocean wind. You’ll be able to see so much here like the view of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, the Singapore Flyer, the Merlion, and the Helix Bridge. You’ll find it much beautiful to walk around during the night because everything is lit like New Year’s Eve.

Singapore Flyer

One of the most amazing experiences during my time in Singapore is the ride in the Singapore Flyer. It was awesome and I will never ever forget it. It’s one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the world and it gives the best aerial view of Marina Bay Sands. It’s perfect to ride it before the sun goes down because the whole ride takes about 30 minutes. So you’ll get to experience going up while the sun is still out and when you reach the top, buildings and structures will start to light up and you will see a most spectacular view.

Universal Studios

I am like a child. I love amusement parks. I love riding the extreme rides, like roller coasters and stuff like that. It doesn’t make me feel young. It just makes me feel like me. It’s really fun and I highly recommend Universal Studios for all ages. Even adults will enjoy this. Their best ride, by the way, is the Transformers ride. So if you get there early, make sure to go straight to that one because the line gets long fast.

So there you have it, my favorite spots in Singapore. I know it’s only just four spots. I would have added more, but I filtered it to just four because the other areas were just additions so the list will be longer, and I can’t do that. If I’ll ever go back to Singapore, I’ll make sure to give this list an update. Hope you enjoyed it.

I definitely want to visit Singapore! I have a friend from there. It’s quite far from America though, so it will remain just a dream for now 😉

If you’re traveling to Asia, it should be one of the countries on your list.
