Oh My! OOMA! Japanese Restaurant at SM Mega Mall

Ooma Flavorful Travels

Surprisingly good and surprisingly affordable. We were at SM Mega Mall one time and couldn’t decide where to eat. Thankfully, I’m a big fan of the Zomato app and I have it downloaded on my phone. So we checked which restaurants are high rating at SM Mega Mall and to my surprise, Ooma has a rating of 4.9/5. I seriously have never seen a restaurant with this rating on Zomato before, and that’s coming from over 400 reviews or votes. So it must be good and we decided to try it out.

Needless to say, it was totally worth it. Worth the price, which is inexpensive. And worth the delicious food, which was described as Japanese comfort food. If you visit the restaurant, you’ll notice that it has banners saying Poke Bowl, which is originally a Hawaiian dish but is now becoming a popular Japanese version because it is served with raw fish or seafood. And Japanese food is very well known for sashimi. Just cut them in cubes, add rice and seasoning and it becomes the Poke Bowl. You can try your very first from Ooma.

Though Ooma is promoting this new food trend, they also serve traditional Japanese menu such as Udon and Maki. All dishes from Ooma is served with unique elegance in plating and with a smile from the very hospitable staff.

I just seriously can’t believe you’ll enjoy this much of a meal from a restaurant like this for less than Php1,000 for two people. Can’t wait to come back and try another one of their delicious meals.

Location: SM Mega Mall, Mandaluyong

That sounds like a great restaurant, and the food looks appetizing. I must try it when I drop by at Megamall some time.
